In a recent statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense, it has been revealed that the heavy sniper squad of the 155th Marine Infantry Brigade of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) has successfully eliminated an entire battalion of the Ukrainian army between February and October 2023. The snipers have been providing fire support to the assault groups of the TOF marine infantry near Ugledar.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the heavy sniper squad has achieved approximately a hundred successful hits, which is almost equivalent to an entire battalion. Additionally, the squad has assisted the assault units in capturing a wooded area near the village of Nikolskoye.
One of the sniper spotters, with the call sign “Timati,” revealed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on their advancing assault groups with a large-caliber machine gun. However, the snipers effectively neutralized the machine gunner, thereby providing crucial assistance to their own assault teams.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense had reported successes on the Southern Donetsk front. Furthermore, the Ministry had previously announced the destruction of unmanned boats belonging to the Ukrainian forces in the Black Sea.
