Russian special forces, known as Rosgvardiya, have successfully intercepted a Ukrainian military drone disguised as an eagle in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The drone was captured during reconnaissance and search operations carried out by the special forces, as reported by a Telegram channel linked to the agency.
It is noted that the drone was intercepted using special signal jamming devices. The unidentified drone, concealed within a camouflage casing, was equipped with a surveillance camera. After being inspected by sappers, it was handed over to the relevant authorities for further analysis.
This incident comes after Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology, and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, announced plans for the launch of the “Robot Army” and the “Electronic Warfare Army” during a live interview on ForbesTech-2023.
According to Fedorov, it is not only important to propose innovative developments but also to have the ability to scale them effectively.
Previously, the United States had identified one of the greatest threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
