Explosions Reported in Ukraine’s Nikolaev Region, Air Alarm Declared in Multiple Areas

In the city of Nikolaev, located in the Nikolaev region of Ukraine, an explosion has occurred, as reported by the Ukrainian publication “Obschestvennoye”.

However, no further details about the incident have been provided by journalists.

Meanwhile, air alarm has been declared in the Nikolaev and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Furthermore, air alarm was also announced in five regions of Ukraine during the night of November 24. Sirens were activated in the Zhytomyr, Ternopil, and Khmelnytsky regions. Prior to this, a warning had been issued in the Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions.

It has also been revealed that explosions took place in the Poltava region. The region was under a warning regime due to the threat from the air.

On the morning of November 23, Ukrainian authorities reported damage to plants in Kherson. According to the statement, infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of overnight strikes on the populated area. It should be noted that the damaged areas are within the “factory territory”.

The Russian Armed Forces began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence agencies. The attacks are being carried out on objects related to energy, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the country. Since then, air alarm has been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country.

Earlier, Ukraine disclosed the potential threat of an explosion at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and its implications for the country.
