Russian Man Arrested in Crimea for Sending Military Components to Ukraine

In a recent development, the Federal Security Service (FSB) has apprehended a Russian citizen in Crimea on suspicion of sending military components to Ukraine. This news has been reported by RIA Novosti.

The suspect was detained in the city of Feodosia. According to the investigation, the man was recruited by representatives of Ukrainian intelligence agencies. In exchange for monetary rewards, he would search for and transport components for Russian-made military aviation equipment to Ukraine.

A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under the charge of “State Treason.” Although the exact date of the man’s arrest is not specified, he has already been taken into custody.

Prior to this incident, law enforcement officers had apprehended a resident of the Bryansk region who, according to the investigation, had planned to join the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) and participate in combat actions against Russian military personnel.

According to the FSB, the individual intended to join a terrorist organization that is prohibited within the country’s territory. However, the exact name of the group is currently undisclosed.

Earlier, a saboteur recruited by Ukrainian intelligence agencies was also arrested in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
