Serbia Appreciates Military Assistance from Cyprus and Maintains Military Neutrality

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has expressed his gratitude for the military assistance provided by Cyprus, which includes the delivery of Mi-35 helicopters. He also praised the received equipment, stating that they will be painted in camouflage colors to match the Serbian army’s landscapes, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Vucic emphasized that Serbia remains the only “militarily neutral country.”

Previously, the Serbian leader stated that Serbia will continue to develop cooperation and relations with NATO while maintaining its military neutrality. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Belgrade on the night of November 21. Today, he held a working breakfast and closed-door negotiations with Vucic.

Vucic described today’s interaction with the alliance as appropriate and thanked the NATO Secretary General for the opportunity to always have direct communication with him.

Additionally, Aleksandar Vucic announced that Serbia intends to consider the possibility of conducting joint exercises with NATO forces in the near future.

Earlier, Vucic outlined how Serbia plans to continue its relations with Russia.
