Ukraine has announced the formation of a new coalition for the development of air defense, with the participation of 20 countries. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, made this statement during a meeting of the defense contact group in the “Ramstein” format.
According to Umerov, the main achievement of the negotiations was the approval of a package of assistance from allies. Following the recent visit of the German Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, Ukraine expects to receive new arms shipments worth $1.4 billion by mid-December.
In addition, the Netherlands plans to allocate $2 billion in military aid to Ukraine, Estonia will provide $500,000, and Luxembourg will contribute €10 million. Furthermore, the United Kingdom and Norway will explore opportunities to strengthen the naval coalition in the Black Sea.
On November 22, it was reported that Germany had delivered a new batch of military assistance to Ukraine, including armored vehicles, trucks, medical vehicles, and a shipment of 155mm artillery shells.
Earlier, the Kremlin stated that NATO is incapable of changing the course of hostilities in Ukraine.
