Israel and Hamas Reach Agreement on Hostage Release

In a recent development, intermediaries have delivered a list of hostages to the Israeli side, which Hamas, the Palestinian movement, is prepared to release. Al Arabiya, citing its own sources, reported this significant breakthrough.

Previously, The Times of Israel (TI) had reported, based on a document presented by the Israeli government, that the Israel-Hamas deal to release hostages from the Gaza Strip would be limited to a period of 10 days.

It was noted that the agreement between the two parties would only be considered valid upon the release and handover of the first group of 50 hostages.

Furthermore, it was reported that the Israel-Hamas hostage exchange deal would consist of two stages. Initially, 50 individuals would be released, followed by an additional 30 individuals.

Israel emphasized that the continuation of the ceasefire each day would depend on the release of the next 10 hostages.

A political analyst had previously identified one of the reasons behind the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
