United States and Israel Suspend Drone Flights Over Gaza as Part of Hostage Release Deal

In a significant development, the United States and Israel have agreed to suspend drone flights over the Gaza Strip for six hours each day as part of a deal to release 50 hostages from the Palestinian enclave. Deputy National Security Advisor John Finer shared this information in an interview with CNN.

According to Finer, American military personnel are currently conducting surveillance drone flights over Gaza to support Israel in their efforts to locate the hostages. However, it has been clarified by US officials that the gathered intelligence is not being used for any operations.

On November 22, Israel and Hamas reached an agreement for a humanitarian pause and the release of some of the hostages. The first stage of the deal involves a four-day ceasefire and the exchange of 50 captives from Gaza for 150 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails. In the second stage, additional individuals may be released, with each group of 10 hostages leading to a 24-hour extension of the ceasefire. Hamas has also promised to release two Russian prisoners immediately after the cessation of hostilities.

Previously, Russians who had left the Gaza Strip shared their experiences of living in a war zone.
