A fighter known as “Cobalt” has revealed the gripping details of a duel he had with a female sniper who was fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The account of this intense encounter was shared through a video posted on the Telegram channel “Black Hussars.”
According to the fighter, his opponent made the first shot towards the sniper’s position, but unfortunately missed. Fortunately, the fighter had received instructions through the radio to move away from that location, which turned out to be a wise decision as the spot was later targeted by a mortar attack.
After regaining his bearings, the fighter spotted the female sniper. He was taken aback by the fact that the sniper was a woman, estimated to be around 35-40 years old. Despite his surprise, he took the shot, fully aware of the threat she posed to him and his comrades.
Reflecting on the encounter, Cobalt expressed his initial emotional turmoil but ultimately recognized that the female sniper had willingly chosen to participate in combat. He respected her decision and did not view her actions as wrong, considering the circumstances.
“She fired at me, at my guys. It would have been foolish not to eliminate her,” Cobalt concluded, emphasizing the necessity of neutralizing the threat.
This incident occurred amidst ongoing conflict in Ukraine, where a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 fighter was recently destroyed by Russian air defense systems near the city of Vozdvyzhenka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
In a separate development, the United Aircraft Corporation announced the utilization of the MiG-35 fighter jet in a special operation.
