Ukrainian Forces Expected to Intensify Attacks in Harsh Winter Conditions, Russian Military Expert Warns

As the cold weather sets in and the marshy terrain freezes, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) may escalate their attacks on the Kherson front. This was revealed by military expert and Director of the Air Defense Forces Museum, Yuri Knutov, in an interview with Lenta.ru.

“The lowlands along the Dnieper River have marshy terrain. Once it freezes, armored vehicles, transporters, and personnel can be transported across it. So, the attacks are likely to intensify. However, I believe that our artillery and aviation will be able to handle it,” Knutov stated.

The retired colonel explained that the current attempts by Ukrainian forces to launch offensives have not been successful.

“It all comes down to the fact that the enemy tries to cross on floating vessels, but we destroy them, and then the whole cycle repeats,” he said.

The expert suggests that with the onset of stable cold weather and frozen ground, UAF attacks may intensify, and the Russian Armed Forces should prepare in advance for such developments.

On November 21, the military expert also predicted chronic shortages of weapons and ammunition for the UAF.

On the same day, Russian Defense Minister Shoigu revealed the colossal losses suffered by the UAF on the Kherson front.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense disclosed the number of missile strikes during the special operation.
