Pennsylvania Man Arrested for Stalking and Attempted Murder of Estranged Wife

Disturbing details have emerged regarding a Pennsylvania man who was arrested for allegedly stalking his estranged wife and attempting to kidnap, rape, and murder her. The incident took place on Sunday in the parking lot of a Walmart in King of Prussia, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

The suspect, identified as Geoffrey Kay-Conway Sr., 52, reportedly stabbed his soon-to-be ex-wife multiple times in the leg around 10:45 a.m. Fortunately, the victim managed to escape her car and seek help. Upper Merion Township police responded to a domestic assault in progress, finding the victim in the parking lot.

Upon apprehending the suspect, officers discovered a large metal pick sticking out of his sweatshirt pocket, along with black zip ties resembling handcuffs. Further investigation revealed several disturbing items inside Kay-Conway’s pickup truck, including piercing tools, a blindfold, duct tape, knives, pliers, and other tools. Shockingly, one of the piercing tools had the victim’s name written on it.

Authorities also found a chilling note inside the suspect’s vehicle. The note detailed how Kay-Conway had stalked his victim and outlined his plans to rape and kill her. Additionally, a court order and a two-page note, both related to the suspect’s previous stalking arrest on October 31, were discovered in a sealed manila envelope in the truck. The court order contained a disturbing message scribbled at the bottom, expressing the suspect’s intention to harm the victim within a specific timeframe.

According to investigators, Kay-Conway had placed a tracking device on the victim’s car and had followed her to the Walmart parking lot before assaulting her and attempting to abduct her. District Attorney Kevin Steele emphasized the severity of domestic violence and stalking, stating that leaving an abuser poses the greatest risk to victims.

Kay-Conway now faces charges of attempted murder, attempted kidnapping, attempted rape, aggravated assault, stalking, and other offenses. He has been denied bail and is currently held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing for his case has been scheduled for December 11.

The incident serves as a chilling reminder of the dangers posed by domestic violence and the importance of taking such cases seriously.
