In early November, an experimental unit of combat drones called “Lancet” produced by the Kalashnikov weapons conglomerate arrived in the conflict zone, according to reports from Izvestia.
A source in the military revealed that the drones are equipped with a new combat module, known as the “strike core,” which allows them to effectively target and destroy enemy armored vehicles.
The article highlights that this innovative technology has already proven successful in the conflict zone, and further modifications will be made to enhance their efficiency.
Furthermore, it was announced in mid-November that Russia has equipped the drones with a neural network system for recognizing Ukrainian military equipment, including NATO models, in an automated manner.
Previously, the Russian Armed Forces have successfully employed the “Lancet” kamikaze drones during nighttime operations.
