The accused, Wei Fen Ong, now faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon resulting in serious bodily injury, as well as three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Meanwhile, in a separate call to the nearby town of Lewisville, authorities were alerted to the wife’s actions and the presence of their three young children, aged 8, 9, and 12, in the submerged vehicle.
