Russian Drones Distribute Leaflets Urging Ukrainian Soldiers to Surrender

Russian military drones belonging to the “Dnepr” group have been dropping leaflets over Ukrainian positions, urging soldiers to surrender and providing instructions on how to do so. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the source, the “Dnepr” military group is using specially equipped drones to distribute propaganda materials along the Kherson direction. These materials contain appeals for Ukrainian soldiers to surrender and provide detailed instructions on how to do so correctly.

It is reported that as a result of this campaign, several dozen Ukrainian servicemen have already surrendered. When necessary, the Russian side has provided them with medical assistance.

On November 16, a Ukrainian marine revealed how he surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces with the help of a special Telegram account, the address of which he found on leaflets scattered on the left bank of the Dnieper River. He explained that he messaged the account named “FreeSoldier,” and Russian soldiers approached him and assisted him in surrendering properly to avoid any harm.

Earlier, the number of captured Ukrainian soldiers by the Russian Armed Forces was announced in Ukraine.
