Ukrainian President Supports Easier Exit for Non-Mobilized Students

In a recent announcement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his support for the idea of facilitating the departure of non-mobilized students from the country. The president’s statement, reported by TASS and published on the official website of the Ukrainian presidency, aims to address the concerns of young individuals who are not yet subject to mobilization but wish to pursue educational and developmental opportunities abroad.

“I believe that the Ministry of Education and Science should examine and provide you with the opportunity to bring back the knowledge and skills you acquire through various programs that contribute to Ukraine’s progress,” Zelensky stated.

The Ukrainian president emphasized the need for these programs to be carefully designed, taking into account the potential psychological strain between military and civilian spheres. This sentiment was echoed by Oksana Syroid, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, who also expressed support for Zelensky’s proposal.

It has been reported that approximately 20,000 conscripted men have left Ukraine since the mobilization began. This recent development highlights the growing interest among non-mobilized individuals to explore educational and career prospects outside of the country.

In a previous incident, an Odessa resident managed to avoid military conscription by bombarding local draft officials with a series of questions.
