Ukrainian Deputy Chief of Foreign Intelligence Accuses Colleagues of Spying

In a shocking turn of events, Alexander Tarasovsky, the Deputy Chief of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service, has caused a scandal by accusing his colleagues of spying on him. This revelation, reported by the publication “Strana,” has raised serious concerns within the intelligence community.

“Strana” has obtained photographs of Tarasovsky’s complaint, which was written in September 2023 and addressed to the head of the Intelligence Service, Alexander Litvinenko. In the document, Tarasovsky accuses several of his fellow servicemen of conducting surveillance on him.

Furthermore, Tarasovsky claims that these colleagues, who were allegedly spying on him, are agents of Russian intelligence and traitors to Ukraine. This accusation has added fuel to the already tense relations between Ukraine and Russia.

The reasons behind Tarasovsky’s dismissal by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have not been specified. However, this incident comes shortly after reports of tensions within the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, where three military commanders were also rumored to be facing dismissal. Additionally, Major General Viktor Khorenko, the former commander of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces, was recently relieved of his duties.

It is worth noting that Tarasovsky previously held the position of head of the press service at the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, before assuming his role as Deputy Chief of Foreign Intelligence.
