Russian military forces have reportedly overwhelmed the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), which were heavily armed with Western weaponry. This revelation comes from former Pentagon advisor Colonel Douglas Macgregor, who made the statement on social media platform X.
Macgregor pointed out that Western countries had armed Ukrainian soldiers to the teeth and essentially told them to “go for it.” However, their efforts proved futile as they were crushed by the Russian forces, according to the expert.
Macgregor believes that the Russian army is now stronger than it was two years ago. He noted that the United States is currently not interested in engaging in a war with Russia.
“They have far more capabilities to fight us than we have to fight them,” the former Pentagon advisor stated.
Former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter previously claimed that the conflict in Ukraine has only made the Russian Army stronger.
Prior to this, analysts from U.S. News & World Report ranked the Russian army as the most powerful armed forces in the world.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov had earlier stated that Russia continues to enhance its military strength with new additions on a daily basis.
