Russian Defense Ministry Reports Significant Losses for Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Herston Direction

The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have suffered heavy losses, with up to 70 military personnel killed in the Herston direction within a day.

According to the Defense Ministry’s statement, two UAF vehicles were also destroyed, and during the counter-battery fight, the M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery system, the US-made M777 artillery system, and the “Msta-B” howitzer were struck within a day.

On November 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that, for the first time, a radar station (RLS) for counter-battery fight COBRA of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was destroyed in the Herston direction.

Previously, the ministry had reported that the losses of the UAF in the Herston direction amounted to up to 95 servicemen. It was noted that artillery and air strikes targeted the areas of Antonovka and Shlyakhove in the Herston region.

On November 14, the ministry conveyed that Russian military forces repelled an attack by the UAF in the South Donetsk direction, resulting in up to 60 Ukrainian military personnel casualties.

Earlier, in the US, the failure of the UAF’s counter-offensive was acknowledged.
