Russian Air Defense Systems Neutralize Five Ukrainian Drones in Attempted Attacks

Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) operated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces overnight. The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported this development, as cited by TASS.

According to the ministry, three UAVs of aircraft type were destroyed over the Black Sea, near Crimea, while two were intercepted over the territory of the Bryansk region.

Prior to this incident, it was reported that a Ukrainian drone had attacked the unfinished Chemical Plant named after the 50th Anniversary of the USSR in the village of Seltso, Bryansk region. According to media reports, the kamikaze drone crashed onto the roof of one of the workshops, causing damage to the structure in three places. Fortunately, the explosive device on the UAV did not detonate, and no injuries were reported.

In early November, it was revealed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had launched missile attacks on Crimea. On November 4th, rockets were intercepted above a shipbuilding plant in Kerch. More details about the shelling can be found in the article published by “Gazeta.ru”.
