Iran Possesses Sufficient Enriched Uranium for Three Atomic Bombs, Reports Confirm

According to a report from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it has been revealed that Iran has accumulated a significant amount of enriched uranium, enough to build three atomic bombs. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

The agency emphasizes that Iran currently possesses a substantial quantity of uranium enriched to a level of 60%, which is dangerously close to weapons-grade. With this supply, Iran could potentially develop three atomic bombs.

The IAEA has highlighted that the Iranian side is obstructing the agency’s work, as Tehran is denying access to its specialists for the installation of new monitoring equipment and refusing to explain the presence of uranium particles at two undisclosed locations.

Prior to this, it was reported that Iran had revoked the accreditation of eight experts from the IAEA who were responsible for monitoring Tehran’s compliance with nuclear program obligations.

In response to these actions, the organization’s director-general, Rafael Grossi, expressed concern that such a move would limit the IAEA’s ability to conduct inspections in Iran. He condemned Tehran’s actions and urged the country to cooperate, as stated in the report.

Previously, physicists had determined the safest places to seek shelter during a nuclear explosion.
