First Fuel Tanker Enters Gaza Strip Through Rafah Crossing

Cairo, November 14 – The first fuel tanker has entered the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, according to Egyptian television channel Extra News. Journalists report that the first fuel tanker has entered the Gaza Strip from the Rafah border crossing. Sources previously informed Reuters that Israel has approved the delivery of 24,000 liters of diesel fuel for trucks participating in UN operations in Gaza. At the end of October, the ground phase of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) operation in the enclave began. The city of Gaza is surrounded by ground forces, and the entire territory of the sector is effectively divided into southern and northern parts. Today, the IDF announced a four-hour suspension of military operations in certain areas to evacuate civilians closer to the border with Egypt. The enclave is completely blocked by Israeli military forces, with the delivery of water, food, electricity, medication, and fuel halted. The delivery of humanitarian goods and the evacuation of the wounded is carried out exclusively through the Rafah crossing – the only border crossing with Egypt.
