Russian Airborne Troops Destroy Enemy Strongholds in Artemivsk Region

In the Artemivsk region, several enemy strongholds were destroyed by anti-aircraft gunners from the Ivanovo unit of the Russian Airborne Troops. This information was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

On the Artemivsk front, a battery of ZPU-4 and S-60 anti-aircraft systems eliminated dozens of fortified and camouflaged strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Ministry notes that the personnel of the airborne troops use these systems exclusively to strike ground targets.

Additionally, the Ivanovo anti-aircraft gunners successfully disabled a significant amount of enemy light-armored vehicles.

To enhance maneuverability and quick movement on the battlefield, the Ministry of Defense’s statement mentions that the anti-aircraft systems were mounted on the base of “Ural” trucks. This allows them to constantly change firing positions and carry out combat missions multiple times a day.

Previously, it was reported that an enemy stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the western flank of the Artemivsk front was captured by Russian airborne assault groups.

Earlier in Russia, a new system for suppressing drones was developed.
