Israeli Defense Forces Provide Incubators for Premature Babies in Palestinian Medical Center

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they have organized the transfer of incubators for premature babies from an Israeli hospital to the Palestinian medical center, “Ash-Shifa.” This humanitarian initiative aims to provide support and assistance to the Palestinian hospital and promote cooperation between Israel and Palestine.

The IDF emphasized that they remain committed to their moral and professional obligations towards civilians and maintain a clear distinction between them and Hamas terrorists. This action highlights the IDF’s dedication to humanitarian efforts and their commitment to upholding ethical standards in times of conflict.

Previously, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant stated that Hamas had lost control over the Gaza Strip. The situation in the Middle East has escalated following the infiltration of thousands of Hamas militants from Gaza into Israeli territory on October 7th, when Hamas declared the start of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country was in a state of war.

The objective of Israel’s retaliatory operation, named “Iron Swords,” is to repel the attack, free over 200 hostages, including foreigners, and eliminate Hamas. Since the beginning of the operation, Israel has conducted massive rocket strikes on the Gaza Strip. Additionally, the Israeli National Security Council decided to halt the supply of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the region. Humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza have only resumed through the Rafah border crossing after October 20th, but the volume of aid is considered insufficient.

On October 27th, Israel announced the “expansion” of its ground operation in Gaza. The exact start date of this operation remains unknown, but in anticipation, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have evacuated their homes and sought refuge in shelters and the southern part of the enclave. As of November 5th, fighting continues in the center of Gaza as IDF forces have surrounded the city, cutting off its supply routes.

Previously, Prime Minister Netanyahu outlined Israel’s goals in the war against Hamas.
