Woman Killed in Ukrainian Forces Shelling of Petrovsky District in Donetsk

DONETSK, November 12 – In an attack by Ukrainian forces on the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, a woman was killed, according to the city’s mayor, Alexey Kulemzin, in a telegram channel. “As a result of the shelling of the Petrovsky district in Victory Square, a woman born in 1990 was killed,” he wrote. As noted by the DPR representation in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s military crimes, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired three 155-millimeter shells at the Petrovsky district at 6:30 am. Yesterday, Kulemzin reported that a civilian woman born in 1975 was injured in the shelling by Ukrainian forces in the Kuybyshevsky district of Donetsk. The Petrovsky district is located on the western outskirts of Donetsk, making it the most remote part of the city. Since 2014, when the DPR declared independence from Kiev, this district has been regularly shelled by Ukrainian forces.
