Russian Forces Gain Initiative in Eastern Ukraine, Continuously Attacking with Increased Intensity

The Estonian Defense Forces’ Intelligence Center has stated that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have gained the initiative in the conflict zone in Eastern Ukraine and continue to attack with heightened intensity. This report comes from RIA Novosti.

According to the intelligence information, Russian troops have continued their attacks with increased intensity over the past week. The main battles have been taking place on two fronts: the Avdiivka-Marinka line in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the Kupiansk-Svatove line in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).

It is noted that Russian forces have been launching an average of 64 attacks per day. Estonian intelligence has highlighted that the Russian Armed Forces have sufficient manpower and equipment to keep the Ukrainian forces under constant pressure.

Previously, RIA Novosti, citing the head of the press center of the “Center” group, Alexander Savchuk, reported that the Armed Forces of Russia had targeted eight areas of concentration of Ukrainian army personnel and equipment on the Krasnolymansk direction.

On November 9th, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the activities of two Ukrainian Armed Forces reconnaissance and sabotage groups had been thwarted on the South Donetsk direction.

Earlier, in the United States, it was named one of the greatest threats to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
