Israeli Forces Open Fire on Intensive Care Unit at Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has reported on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that Israeli forces have opened fire on the intensive care unit at Al-Quds Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

According to the organization’s statement, “Occupation forces of Israel have opened fire on the intensive care unit at Al-Quds Hospital.”

Prior to this, the Red Crescent reported that 20 people were injured as a result of the Israeli shelling of Al-Quds Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

On October 20, Israeli authorities called for the evacuation of people from Al-Quds Hospital in the Gaza Strip. According to the Red Crescent, in addition to medical staff, the hospital housed over 400 patients and approximately 12,000 displaced civilians seeking shelter there.

On November 3, the Palestinian Red Crescent stated that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have resumed strikes near Al-Quds Hospital.

Earlier, a political analyst cited one of the reasons for the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
