In a recent development, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on the city of Skadovsk in the Kherson region during the night of November 10th. According to Governor Vladimir Saldov, the strike was carried out using HIMARS. The region’s governor reported in his Telegram channel that three missiles were intercepted by air defense forces, while one missile hit an unoccupied house in a privately developed area. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but the house suffered significant material damage.
It was previously reported that the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation had initiated a criminal case following the shelling of Skadovsk by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
On the day of November 9th, Governor Saldov had informed that Ukrainian soldiers had launched a missile strike on Skadovsk, resulting in injuries to 11 individuals.
Following referendums held in September 2022, the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, have become part of the Russian Federation. A state of war has been imposed in these regions since October 20th, 2022.
