Israeli Defense Forces Strike Syrian Organization After Drone Attack on Eilat

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched a strike on a Syrian organization following the launch of a drone from Arab territory that targeted a school in Eilat, according to a statement from the IDF press office’s Telegram channel.

“The Israeli Defense Forces have struck an organization in Syria that carried out the launch of a drone, which hit a school in Eilat,” the IDF stated.

The Israeli army’s press office emphasized that it holds the Syrian government responsible for any action directed against Israel and its territory.

Prior to this incident, the Shiite movement “Ansar Allah” claimed responsibility for the shelling of the city of Eilat in southern Israel.

On November 9, The Jerusalem Post reported an explosion in the Israeli city of Eilat, located on the shore of the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea. According to the publication, the explosion may have been caused by the crash of an unmanned aerial vehicle in the populated area.

Previously, Hamas stated that the West has erected an “impermeable wall” between themselves and the Arab world.
