Rocket Attack in Skadovsk Hospitalizes 11 People in Ukraine’s Kherson Region

After a rocket strike on the city of Skadovsk in the Kherson region by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), 11 people have been hospitalized. This was reported by the region’s governor, Vladimir Saldov, in his Telegram channel.

According to Saldov, the shelling occurred around 10 am. One rocket was intercepted by the Russian air defense system, while another one hit a residential area, causing damage to several houses.

Medical assistance is being provided to all the injured, Saldov noted. Emergency services are currently working at the scene.

“The request is to trust only official sources of information,” concluded the governor.

Prior to this, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported on the shelling. According to him, Ukraine fired around 30 projectiles from a multiple rocket launcher system at populated areas in the Valuysky district within 24 hours.

As a result of the shelling, four houses and a power transmission line were damaged in the mentioned district. Electricity supply has since been restored.

Earlier, a soldier from the UAF expressed confusion about the reasons for the conflict in Ukraine.
