Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov of the Belgorod region has reported in his Telegram channel that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have fired approximately 30 shells from a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) at populated areas in the Valuyky district.
According to Gladkov, as a result of the shelling in the mentioned district, four houses and an electricity transmission line were damaged. However, the power supply has been restored.
In the Volokonovskiy district, the area around the village of Staryi was shelled nine times with mortar fire and 30 times with grenade launchers. In the Grayvoronskiy urban district, on the outskirts of the village of Novostroevka-Pervaya, eight mortar shells were fired, resulting in damage to a water tower.
Gladkov added that in the Shebekinskiy urban district, the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped three explosive devices from a drone in the village of Polyana. Fortunately, no one was injured, but a hangar and a water storage tank at one of the enterprises were damaged. Additionally, a total of 13 shells were fired at the villages of Murom, Belyanka, and Novaya Tavolzanka.
Yesterday, Gladkov reported that two houses in the Belgorod region suffered severe damage during the shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier, a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier expressed his lack of understanding of the reasons for the conflict in Ukraine.
