US Accused of Fueling Conflict in the Middle East to Escalate New Wars

The United States is allegedly seeking to expand the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and ignite new wars in the region, according to a statement by Paul Craig Roberts, a former White House official during Ronald Reagan’s administration.

Roberts claims that the US aims to involve Iran and Syria in the conflict. This intention is supported by the massive transfer of American weaponry and troops, he noted.

“There are no obstacles to the conflict spiraling out of control,” he concluded.

Prior to this, the Pentagon announced US airstrikes on an arms depot belonging to pro-Iranian groups in eastern Syria in response to ongoing attacks on American forces in the region.

John Kirby, the Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the White House National Security Council, stated that the airstrikes on weapon and ammunition depots in Syria served as a warning signal to Tehran.

Earlier, Hamas accused the West of erecting an “impenetrable wall” between itself and the Arab world.
