The US gas base located in the eastern part of Syria, known as “Koniko,” has been targeted by a drone attack and rocket fire. This information was reported by Al Mayadeen TV channel, citing a source.
According to the message, the American base at the Koniko gas field to the east of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria was subjected to missile bombardment and drone attacks.
Prior to this, the channel had reported that the eastern part of the city of Deir ez-Zor had been targeted in an aerial attack involving four rockets. According to their information, the rockets were aimed at a bakery on the outskirts of the city and empty warehouses.
On November 6, there was news of an attack on a US military base in the Syrian city of Hasakah. On October 27, Al Mayadeen reported explosions at the American base in Koniko.
Earlier, US intelligence had expressed concern about the infiltration of Chinese software.
