Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has declared that the country’s Armed Forces will continue their offensive in 2023 and 2024, despite the current difficulties faced during the Ukrainian counteroffensive. His remarks were reported by Reuters.
“We have a plan, [and] the direction in which we will lead the offensive,” asserts the Ukrainian leader.
According to him, specific goals, cities, and directions have been identified for the planned counteroffensive.
“We will try to show results this year… We have a plan for the future,” stated the politician, although he refused to disclose further details.
In the opinion of the Ukrainian president, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently facing certain difficulties in conducting the counteroffensive. He attributed the battlefield setbacks to the insufficient amount of weaponry provided by Western allies.
Previously, former CIA agent Larry Johnson stated that Zelensky was giving impossible orders to the country’s military personnel involved in combat operations.
Earlier in the United States, the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive was acknowledged.
