The air alarm in Sevastopol has been cancelled, according to the city’s governor, Mikhail Razvozhaev, who made the announcement on his Telegram channel at 10:29 Moscow time.
“Air alarm cancelled!” he wrote.
The governor also explained the presence of smoke in the area of Sevastopol Bay, stating that it was caused by the military’s use of camouflage measures.
At 10:20 Moscow time, the governor had previously reported the air alarm in Sevastopol.
Prior to this, air alarms had been declared in three regions of Ukraine. Sirens were activated in the Poltava, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.
Meanwhile, reports of successful strikes came from Kherson, which is under Ukrainian control. Damage was inflicted on a factory and engineering structures.
Yesterday, air alarms were declared in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions of Ukraine. Two minutes later, the alarm was also announced in the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Zaporizhzhia region.
Since October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces have been conducting strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure.
Earlier, Russia had developed a new system for drone suppression.
