US Concerned about Russian Missile Bulava as Nuclear Triad Asset

The United States has expressed serious concerns over the Russian missile “Bulava,” according to Andrey Koshkin, the head of the Department of Political Science and Sociology at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and a military expert. In a conversation with journalists from the newspaper “Izvestia,” Koshkin emphasized that the Bulava missiles are carried by the Project 955 “Borei” nuclear submarines.

Koshkin stated that the Bulava missile is a crucial asset of the nuclear triad and poses a significant threat to the United States. He believes that this weapon instills panic among those who would like to accuse Russia of wrongdoing.

Recently, the strategic nuclear-powered submarine cruiser “Emperor Alexander III” conducted a test launch of the intercontinental ballistic missile Bulava from the White Sea to the Kura Range on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

In October, the Russian Armed Forces launched two ballistic missiles as part of training exercises for their strategic nuclear forces.

Earlier, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had disclosed information about Russia’s military exercises in Ukraine.
