A Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) has been reportedly destroyed near Donetsk, according to the advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Yan Gagin, as reported by TASS.
Gagin noted that artillery strikes and machine gun fire halted the group’s activities and ultimately led to its destruction.
Preliminary information suggests that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) suffered approximately 10 casualties.
On October 25th, Vladimir Rogov, the leader of the Zaporizhia public movement “We Are Together with Russia,” announced that two sabotage groups from Ukraine were eliminated in the Verbovo area on the front line in the Zaporizhia region.
Just 10 days prior, Russian military forces had thwarted the activities of a sabotage and reconnaissance group from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the DRG was discovered near the town of Olshana.
Earlier in the United States, the failure of the UAF’s counteroffensive was acknowledged.
