Russian Drone Destroys US Artillery in Ukraine, Russian Forces Gain Ground

In a significant development in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, a Russian kamikaze drone has successfully destroyed a US-made artillery piece (howitzer) in the Krasnolimansk region, within the scope of a special operation. The Russian Ministry of Defense has released footage of the artillery’s elimination.

The video shows the American howitzer firing a shot, which is detected by Russian intelligence. Subsequently, a barrage ammunition hits the howitzer, resulting in the cessation of fire from its side.

Prior to this incident, reports emerged about the situation in the Kherson region, where Russian military forces managed to destroy an observation post and a warehouse containing supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU). Furthermore, Ukrainian troops lost two boats and over 20 soldiers.

Meanwhile, in the Artemovsk region, Russian armed forces, comprising small groups of assault troops, have captured a strategic position, destroying a Western-made armored personnel carrier (BMP) and tank in the process. The VSU attempted a counterattack but was reportedly unsuccessful, according to the Ministry of Defense.

Earlier, it was revealed that Russian military personnel received monetary certificates for the destruction of Leopard 2 tanks.

This recent incident highlights the intensification of the conflict in Ukraine, with Russian forces gaining ground and successfully neutralizing US-made equipment. The situation remains highly concerning, with Ukraine grappling to defend its territories against Russian aggression. The international community continues to closely monitor the developments and assess the implications for regional stability.
