Ukraine Plans to Accumulate Weapons and Mobilize for a Spring Offensive, Says Military Expert

In the upcoming autumn-winter period, Ukraine intends to stockpile weapons, conduct mobilization, and potentially launch an offensive in the spring. This opinion was expressed by Vasily Dandykin, a reserve captain of the first rank and military expert, in an interview with Lenta.ru.

Dandykin believes that the Ukrainian command hopes for a “certain truce.”

“Their current objectives are to hold on during the autumn-winter period, accumulate weapons, conduct mobilization, and launch an offensive in the spring. They hope they will be able to achieve this,” said the reserve captain.

According to him, the Ukrainian forces currently want to go on the defensive, and the task of the Russian Armed Forces is to prevent them from doing so.

On November 6, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported that Ukrainian military officials are increasingly talking about the deteriorating situation on the front lines and preparing for Ukraine’s defeat in the conflict.

Earlier, a retired general of the Czech army criticized Ukraine for its mistakes in the counteroffensive.
