Russian National Guard troops have neutralized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and quadcopters that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) attempted to use to attack a facility in the Belgorod region. This information was reported by the press service of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation (Rosgvardiya).
“The band formations of the Kiev regime attempted to attack a facility with UAVs and quadcopters,” the statement said.
According to the agency, Rosgvardiya troops detected the drones and used special means to counter them, causing the explosives-laden UAVs to lose control, crash to the ground, and explode.
“There are no casualties or damage,” the publication states.
Previously, the Governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that a missile danger siren had been activated again in Belgorod on March 18.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of three UAVs over the Belgorod region.
