Hamas Fires Rocket at Israeli City in Retaliation for Civilian Massacre

The military wing of Hamas, known as the “Al-Qassam Brigades,” has announced the launch of a rocket towards the Israeli city of Eilat, located on the Red Sea coast. This announcement was made in a Telegram channel affiliated with the Palestinian movement.

According to the message, the Al-Qassam Brigades fired an Ayyash-250 rocket at Eilat in response to the massacre of innocent civilians.

On November 4th, the Arab television channel Al Jazeera reported that the Israeli Air Force had carried out a bombing raid on the BAPOR school (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) in northern Gaza, where civilians reside.

On October 7th, the forces of the Hamas movement launched thousands of rockets towards Israel and declared the start of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country was in a state of war.

The retaliatory operation by the Israel Defense Forces has been named “Operation Iron Swords,” with the destruction of Hamas being one of its objectives. The Israeli Air Force has carried out strikes on hundreds of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, a political analyst identified one of the reasons for the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
