In a recent development on the Ukrainian front, Russian military forces have successfully repelled an attack by Ukrainian fighters, resulting in the elimination of over 50 Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) soldiers. The Russian Ministry of Defense made this announcement through its official Telegram channel.
According to the Ministry’s summary, the attack took place on the Kherson front, where Russian troops effectively countered the enemy assault. The UAF suffered more than 60 casualties as a result of the firepower inflicted upon them. Additionally, the Ukrainian military lost six vehicles and a “Msta-B” howitzer.
The Russian Armed Forces, comprising tactical and army aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile troops, and artillery units, dealt significant blows to the UAF’s personnel and military equipment across 118 areas, as reported by the Ministry.
Prior to this incident, the Russian Ministry of Defense had also reported repelling five UAF attacks on the Kupyansk front.
Furthermore, the Russian Armed Forces have acquired GM-94 grenade launchers and PP-2000 submachine guns.
In a separate incident, three UAF fighters crossed the Dnieper River and surrendered themselves to the Russian Armed Forces as prisoners of war.
