In a recent report, the Russian Ministry of Defense revealed that their air defense systems successfully intercepted nine HIMARS rockets in the past 24 hours. Additionally, they shot down 43 Ukrainian drones.
According to the publication, the drones were targeted and destroyed in various areas, including Tavolzhanka in the Kharkiv region, Verkhnekamenka in the Luhansk People’s Republic, Kirillovka and Yalynske in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as the towns of Sladkaya Bulk, Novofedorovka, and Pshenichnoye in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that the Russian Armed Forces effectively defended their positions against five attacks launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction, inflicting significant damage on the enemy in the vicinity of Rabotino.
Russian forces also repelled five attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Kupyansk. In this particular engagement, the enemy reportedly suffered casualties of up to 210 soldiers, as well as the loss of two BMPs, three vehicles, and several units of combat equipment, including a tank.
Furthermore, Ukrainian military concentrations near the islands of Melkiy and Krynyk on the Dnieper River were destroyed.
Earlier, a Russian intelligence report revealed the disruption of ammunition supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Kupyansk.
