Hunter Biden’s Ex-Business Associate Calls for Public Testimony Before Congress Amidst Allegations of Lying to FBI

In a recent development, Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, has called for a joint public testimony before Congress, challenging allegations that he lied to the FBI about his business relationship with President Biden’s son. The call for testimony comes after Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, sent a 10-page letter to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, accusing Bobulinski of making false statements during an interview with the FBI.

Bobulinski, who collaborated with Hunter Biden to establish the joint venture SinoHawk Holdings with the Chinese energy company CEFC, vehemently denied Lowell’s allegations. Through his attorney, he stated that all the claims made in Lowell’s letter were “patently false” and expressed his willingness to expose the truth in a public forum.

The letter from Lowell claimed that Bobulinski had “lied about the business discussions among the partners involved” in the joint venture. Lowell further alleged that Bobulinski had never been present in Miami for initial discussions with Hunter Biden and CEFC chairman Ye Jianming, contradicting Bobulinski’s previous statements.

A significant point of contention revolves around an email from May 2017, which includes a breakdown of the financial capitalization of the joint venture with CEFC. Bobulinski has consistently asserted that the reference to “the big guy” in the email was Joe Biden, while IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler also confirmed this interpretation. However, Lowell dismissed these claims as baseless, arguing that there was no factual basis to assert that “the big guy” referred to Joe Biden.

Lowell accused Bobulinski of fabricating details and creating a false narrative about the involvement of Joe Biden and his brother, Jim Biden, in off-the-books business with CEFC Chairman Ye. He argued that Bobulinski’s false statements align with the improper basis of an impeachment inquiry by House Republicans and the justification for his testimony.

The House Oversight Committee, which is investigating the matter along with the House Judiciary and House Ways & Means Committees, responded to Lowell’s request by condemning any attempts at witness intimidation. They assured that the truth would come out despite the Biden team’s tactics and expressed their intention to give Hunter Biden an opportunity to address the allegations and speak with them.

This latest development adds fuel to the ongoing controversy surrounding Hunter Biden’s business dealings and raises questions about the veracity of the claims made against him. As the call for public testimony looms, the American people await further revelations regarding the nature of the relationship between Hunter Biden, his associates, and their business dealings.
