Hezbollah Leader Calls on Arab and Islamic Countries to Cut Ties with Israel and Halt Oil and Gas Exports

In a recent speech, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah recommended that Arab and Islamic countries sever diplomatic relations with Israel and stop exporting oil and gas to the country. His remarks were relayed by the television channel Al Jazeera.

Nasrallah emphasized the need for these countries to take action to halt Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, rather than just talking about it. He called for the breaking of diplomatic relations, the expulsion of ambassadors, and the cessation of oil, gas, and food exports to Israel.

According to Nasrallah, it is necessary to achieve victory for the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian radical group Hamas, as it is in the interests of all neighboring countries, including Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon.

On November 3, the Secretary-General of the Lebanese party Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, delivered a speech against the backdrop of the escalating Palestinian-Israeli conflict. It was expected that in his first public address in almost 20 years, Nasrallah might declare war on Israel. Iranian sources even claimed that Hezbollah had issued an ultimatum – the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had to withdraw from the Gaza Strip by November 3. However, Nasrallah did not declare war, but he did declare that the current Palestinian-Israeli conflict is a “turning point” and expressed full support for Hamas.
