Russian President Vladimir Putin has praised the military personnel from the Caucasus region for their outstanding and heroic performance in a special military operation, according to RIA Novosti.
Speaking about the soldiers fighting in the special military operation in the Caucasus, Putin stated, “There are many of them, and they fight excellently, heroically.”
The Russian leader highlighted that individuals from the Caucasus region hold high-ranking positions in the Russian army.
Earlier, Putin stated that the Russian Armed Forces are gradually improving their positions along the entire contact line in the zone of the special military operation. It has been noted that representatives from Kiev have recently started talking about a stalled Ukrainian counteroffensive. However, the Kremlin has previously mentioned the advancement of Russian troops in 12 different battlefronts.
Furthermore, reports have emerged about the active offensive operations by Russian military units in the vicinity of the city of Avdiivka in Donetsk. In response to a request for comment on this information, Putin discussed the improving position of the country’s army on the front lines.
Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter previously assessed the successes of the Russian army in the Donetsk region.
