The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have successfully discovered and neutralized several tunnels belonging to the Hamas group during special operations in the Gaza Strip. This significant development was reported by the IDF on their official Telegram channel.
According to the military, the tunnels were found by the “Yahalom” units, along with combat engineers from the Armored Corps, Nahal Brigades, and Negev Brigade. The military teams uncovered tunnels filled with explosives and successfully neutralized them.
On November 3rd, the IDF entered the city of Gaza. As stated by IDF spokesperson Daniel Haggai, after surrounding the city, naval and aerial support has been provided to the infantry and armored forces to target command centers, rocket launch sites, and other Hamas infrastructure.
On November 2nd, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that the IDF possesses unique methods to address the issue of underground tunnels belonging to Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
He further emphasized that the IDF currently engages in intense combat within the Gaza Strip, but the IDF holds a clear advantage.
Later, it was revealed that the Israeli forces have successfully encircled the city of Gaza from all sides. According to IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Haggai, there are currently no discussions of a potential ceasefire.
Previously, the Lebanese movement Hezbollah had destroyed reconnaissance equipment at an Israeli base.
