Ukrainian Forces Rotate Troops, Facing Setbacks in Avdeevka and Kupyansk

Chairman of the “We Stand with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, has informed TASS that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) are relocating part of their operational-strategic troop grouping “Tavria” from the Vremevsk direction to Avdeevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

“The UAF is currently undergoing rotations in the Vremevsk direction, primarily reinforcing their defense, while withdrawing some forces from the ‘Tavria’ grouping towards Avdeevka. The loss of Avdeevka will significantly hinder their strategic plans,” stated Rogov.

Previously, retired Ukrainian Colonel from the “Center for Defense Strategies” analytical center, Sergei Kivlyuk, stated that Ukraine’s counteroffensive has slowed down in the direction of the Sea of Azov, as well as in Avdeevka and Kupyansk directions.

On October 21, Major General of the UAF, Sergei Krivonos, claimed that Russian forces were actively advancing in the Kupyansk direction. He further added that Russian units possessed immense strength.

On October 24, Russian Armed Forces fighters raised their national flag over the Avdeevka territory, located in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

Earlier, the United States acknowledged the failure of the UAF’s counteroffensive.
