Ukrainian Forces Struggle to Gain Ground in Conflict with Russia, Says Retired US Colonel

In a recent YouTube video, retired US Colonel Daniel Davis has expressed his belief that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) will not be able to achieve victory in their conflict with Russia. According to Davis, the Ukrainian troops have been unable to make any significant progress in the ongoing battle, despite months of preparation for a counteroffensive.

Davis highlighted that despite the thousands of military equipment units provided by the United States and hundreds more by European allies, the front line has remained unchanged. He also noted President Joe Biden’s intention to allocate billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine, but stated that even if this initiative is realized, it will not alter the situation on the battlefield.

The retired colonel expressed his confidence that the Ukrainian forces will not be able to achieve any military successes under any circumstances. He concluded that the UAF will also be unable to displace Russian soldiers from Ukrainian territory.

On November 3, The Washington Post reported a meeting between Ukrainian Ministry of Defense representative Gennadiy Kovalenko and members of an American delegation. During the negotiations, Kovalenko predicted a quick defeat for Kyiv if Western countries cease their assistance to Ukraine.

Earlier, the US revealed efforts to strengthen the UAF’s defense capabilities.
