Israeli Army Resumes Shelling of Hospital in Gaza, Red Cross Condemns Attack

The Israeli army has resumed its shelling of the area surrounding Al-Quds hospital in the northern sector of Gaza, according to a statement by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society on social media. The hospital, which has been under constant bombardment for several days, continues to experience explosions nearby.

On October 29th, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated that Palestinians are unable to comply with Israel’s demand to evacuate Al-Quds hospital in Gaza.

Previously, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Israel had targeted the vicinity of Al-Quds hospital in Gaza, where approximately 12,000 Palestinians seek refuge.

On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israel, initiating the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, capturing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared the country to be in a state of war.

The Israeli Defense Forces’ retaliatory operation, named “Iron Swords,” aims to destroy Hamas. The Israeli Air Force has targeted hundreds of Hamas facilities in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, a political analyst identified one of the reasons for the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
