Explosions rock Ukraine’s Infrastructure as Conflict Escalates

In a recent development, explosions have rocked the infrastructure in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine. This attack on Ukrainian infrastructure was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the “Public” TV channel.

According to the online map provided by the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air alarm has been declared in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava regions of Ukraine.

Just a few days ago, on November 2nd, Ukrainian media reported explosions in the Odessa region, although no further details were provided regarding the aftermath of these incidents.

It is worth noting that the Russian Armed Forces began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which the Russian authorities believe was orchestrated by Ukrainian special services. These strikes are aimed at energy facilities, defense industries, military command centers, and communication networks. However, Russian President’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that Russian forces are not targeting residential buildings or social infrastructure in their clashes with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

On November 2nd, explosions were also reported in the Nikolaev region of Ukraine, coinciding with the previously declared air alarm.

In a separate study, physicists have determined the safest locations to seek shelter in the event of a nuclear explosion.
